One Special Way to Remember 2020

No one is ever too old for a time capsule, are they?

We say, “No way!”

While there certainly are very many creative ways to capture all the ups and many downs that 2020 seems to be offering us. This one seemed too good not to share.  It’s a downloadable time capsule workbook in which you and your family can come together, document and really try grab hold of some of the year’s most important elements.

Without doubt 2020, will be remembered for some pretty unpredictable and truly tough times.  Just think, you will be sharing how you got through it with your own children, their children, your great children and so on.  What’s important to remember and pass on for the generations to come is how you persevered, carried on and how you, your family and friends worked together to move ahead and make good of a bad situation.  Those are the life lessons that can’t be forgotten.

Our sincerest healthy wishes to everyone in our Coco, Early family!  Unmistakeably, we all are in this together.

Coco, Early Agent Teams Spread Some Springtime Cheer

While the world is in a funny place, it seemed only logical for our agent team at Coco, Early & Associates to explore ways to help bring some springtime cheer to our neighboring communities.  We partnered with a local nursery, Nunan Florist and Greenhouses Inc. in Georgetown, MA, ordered and delivered almost 1,500 lilies spontaneously to doorsteps all over Merrimack Valley, MA and Southern NH.

According to our CEO, Blaise, the effort was nothing short of “amazing” and is truly indicative of the company’s culture.  One recipient summed the team effort up quite simply by posting her beautiful Easter lily and sharing it online with the quote, “It’s great to have such nice neighbors!”

While we are committed to taking big and small steps to help make a difference in our communities each and every day, our efforts are even more prevalent in these unsettled times. There’s no doubt, we continue to reach out to those in need.  Some offices donated pizzas or other meals to their community first responders, and the company as a whole, encouraged one another to donate blood, in particularly, during this pandemic.  Other ongoing initiatives include our annual movie event as well as coordinating ongoing food and clothing drives for local shelters.

Increase Your Home’s Value with These Landscaping Ideas

A picture is worth a thousand words if it can create a memorable first impression.

One thing most of us have on our hands right now is time, right?  What better way is there to achieve a positive reaction to the presentation of your home than to start at the curb with your detailing and exterior design features? You want to capture the attention of a casual visitor or prospective buyer from the moment they step foot on your property.

A well-thought-out plan for the curb appeal of your home can increase its value by 10% to 15% and give a buyer a good reason to select your home to purchase.

You will want to create a landscape design that complements the style of your home. A Victorian cottage demands colorful flowering gardens along with a curvy stone walkway, while a craftsman bungalow is more suited for hedges and perennial borders with a paver entry.

Whatever the style, the addition of evergreens will provide year-round color, and deciduous trees will provide great shade and intimacy to a residence when properly placed. Making the right choices for great curb appeal doesn’t need to come at a high price or with extensive upkeep. Flower beds are easily planted and are inexpensive. Selecting plants that do not grow quickly or shed will create a low-maintenance yard.

A major asset to a property’s value is the installation of landscape lighting. The illumination of landscape elements and interesting features of the architecture lets your home command attention 24 hours a day. Another great way to bolster your home’s desirability is to install an irrigation system that will keep your landscaping fresh and inviting, even during the warmest months.

We can help you locate the best sources for creating the wonderful first impression that will be the lasting impression for those who appreciate the attention to detail that you give to your home.
