Last month, some of the partners and agents at Coco, Early & Associates attended a very important event ~ The REALTORS® Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo in Washington, DC. The purpose of the trip, which was open to all members of the National Association of REALTORS®, was to participate in special forums, committee meetings and legislative activities that ensure the members voices are heard amongst our country’s elected officials. The member input is used to assist the industry, as a whole, to move forward with the support of the government.
“It was an incredible opportunity to be surrounded by other agents who are passionate about our voices being heard,” said Guillermo Molina who is currently first vice president of Northeast Association of REALTORS® (2016 vice president and 2017 president). ” We need to do all that we can to protect the right to preserve home ownership. On Capital Hill, we met the elected officials who serve Merrimack Valley, shared our concerns with them and asked them to consider voting in our favor on this issue and many others.”
Those who represented Coco, Early & Associates at the meeting were: Madison Kazes (Methuen agent), Will Molina (managing partner), Denise Olivares (managing partner), Kathryn Early (Methuen agent / representative of the Young Professional Network) and Linda Early (broker / owner and on the board of directors for NEAR and Massachusetts Association of REALTORS®).
The 2016 REALTORS® Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo is scheduled for May 9-14 in Washington, DC.
